I have run seven marathons including Boston; raced in one triathlon (USTS event); and am a veteran indoor rower (7th place, World Championships in '92 and winner of many regional events and championships).

I am a motor racing enthusiast with emphasis in Formula 1.

10 years as production manager/designer for Research Press publishing company

2 years as art director for four weekly newspapers

5 years as lead book designer designer for Irving Perkins Associates

25th year as owner of John Reinhardt Book Design

While living in Illinois, Lynn and I would watch "Newhart" every Monday evening. I guess the music finally got to us. We sold our house, left our careers, sold our '73 BMW Bavaria, and packed everything we owned into a Ryder truck and moved to Vermont. We spent 32 years in Vermont, raising  our daughter, serving on school boards, being active in our community, and enjoying the rural life. However, After 30+ Vermont winters, we decided it was time to move south. With our daughter living in Tampa, FL, we now live in Lake Jovita, just north of Tampa! We are loving the Florida weather and year-round lifestyle.

It hasn't been easy,
but it's been worth it!

There’s nothing more precious than daddy’s little girl. This is a picture of my daughter, Kim, and me “way back when.” Times sure have changed since then. My daughter is now living in Tampa, working hard and enjoying life, and am a few pounds heavier and I no longer wear glasses (contacts now)!

Kim is the light of my life. She has a real talent for managing people and and organizing events, interior and display decoration, design in general, and simply getting things done.
